Terms of service
1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to account creation, sign-in, profile management, date-planning features, and related content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local laws.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for the activity carried out using your credentials and active sessions.
- You must keep your access credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
You must not attempt to disrupt the platform, bypass security controls, or access data for which you do not have authorization.
Users must not publish illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create (for example, date ideas and related text).
By posting content on the service, you grant MyDateLibrary a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display it for the purpose of operating the platform.
You confirm that you have the rights to publish the submitted content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
MyDateLibrary does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of user-generated content. Users are responsible for evaluating and using such information at their own discretion.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these terms, applicable law, or the security and integrity of the platform.
If an account is deleted, previously published content may remain visible in anonymized form, unless the law requires its removal.
6. Responsibility for user content
Users are solely responsible for the content they create, publish, or share through the service, including date ideas or related information.
MyDateLibrary does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or suitability of user-generated content.
MyDateLibrary does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any user-generated content published on the platform.
Users must exercise their own judgment when using information provided by other users.
MyDateLibrary is not responsible for outcomes, experiences, or damages arising from the use of ideas or information published by users on the platform.
7. Reporting content
Users may report content that violates these terms or applicable law. MyDateLibrary may review reported content and take appropriate action, including removal or restriction.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, the brand, the software, and content not generated by users belong to MyDateLibrary or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Third-party services
Some features depend on third-party services (including authentication and geolocation providers). Their availability and policies may affect how those features work.
10. Suspension and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time to improve the platform or for operational reasons.
We may suspend or terminate access where required by law, for security reasons, or for a material breach of these terms.
You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account from your profile settings.
11. Service availability and disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for continuity and quality, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including technical failures, network outages, or third-party interruptions.
Protection against bots and abuse
MyDateLibrary may apply automated verification, rate limits, and security challenges, including Cloudflare Turnstile, to protect registration, content creation, lists, reviews, and support requests against bots, spam, scraping, or abusive use.
You agree not to bypass or interfere with these measures. If we detect suspicious or automated activity, we may temporarily block specific submissions or restrict access to affected features to protect the platform and other users.
12. Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyDateLibrary, its operators, and affiliates from any claim, damage, liability, loss, and expense (including legal fees) arising from their use of the service, breach of these terms, or violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MyDateLibrary shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service or the inability to use it.
14. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.
15. Updates to the terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be published on this page with the revised date and may also be communicated through the account channels available.
16. Entire agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MyDateLibrary regarding the use of the service.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Spain. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts, unless mandatory consumer rules provide otherwise.
